Park Fun Day & Gator Fun Run

🎉 Help us celebrate 100 years of State Park recreation at Choke Canyon State Park! Entry & activities are FREE for all ages! PARK FUN DAY: We have fishing, archery, kayaking and sports for all ages. We provide all equipment! No prior registration required. Don't forget to take a break at our food vendor! GATOR FUN RUN: Our Gator Fun Run 3K is for all ages! Route is ADA accessible for all to participate. All participants who pre-register below by Aug. 30 will receive a FREE t-shirt and participation medal! *Pre-registration for our 3K Gator Fun Run (this included the t-shirt & medal) has ended, but all are welcome to participate!*
Starting at 8:30 am, we'll kick off our 100 Year Event with the 3K Gator Fun Run and our Park Fun Day activities at the rec hall. Entry and activities are FREE for all!! No prior registration is required.
The Park Fun Day activities (10:00 am) center around experiencing outdoor recreation at Choke Canyon! We'll kick off the day with kayaking, fishing, archery and sports. All levels of experience and ages are welcome! And don't worry about equipment - all equipment is provided for each sport. No prior registration is required.
The Gator Fun Run begins at our rec hall, and takes runners through the park, along our wildlife-abundant roads, and through our lantana-filled trails. The route is ADA compliant, so all can participate! If you register before August 30, you will receive a FREE t-shirt and medal!
