Join a Ranger for a night hike hunting scorpions!
Join a ranger for a night hike here at Choke Canyon State Park! Scorpions are unique creatures and at night they reveal a most awesome characteristic. Join us as we learn what unique characteristic scorpions have in our scorpion hunting hike. This is a great activity for campers, visitors, and hikers alike.
What to bring:
- Water
- Closed toe shoes
- BYOBL (Bring Your Own Black Light if you have one, ranger will provide blacklights as well)
- Bug Spray -Family and pet friendly event
Free with park entry fee. The gates close at 10 PM (You must leave before gates close if you're a day visitor.)
