100 S'more Years

Join us as we learn about building a fire and developing a bed of coals fit for a s'more.

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends?

Join us as we learn to build a bed of coals to toast our s'mores marshmellos at 2 p.m. at Bluebonnet Day Use Area. We'll have a limited supply of marshmallos, graham crackers, chocolate, and roasting sticks. 

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s’mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

If you can’t make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s’mores get-together. Post a photo of your s’mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram @texasstateparks.org with the hashtag #100SmoreYears.
