Join a ranger to learn the basics of kayaking. Instruction provided. Limited equipment available.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED to borrow a kayak.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in kayak. Life jackets will be provided and worn by all participants. You are welcome to bring your own kayak(s) and coast guard approved life jacket(s).
Meet at Lone Pine Boat Kayak Launch area at 1 p.m.
Bring shoes that can get wet, towel, weather appropriate clothing, bug spray, dry bag for personal items, and drinking water.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. Registration required!
