Mindfulness Walk

Enjoy a self-guided refreshing, recharge in nature.

This walk is self-guided walk. Use one of several of our many trails to refresh and recharge in nature. 

Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress. Practicing mindfulness exercises can help you direct your attention away from overwhelming and or negative thinking and engage with the world around you.

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass). No need to register -- just show up!
