Join us as Cooper State Park South Sulphur Unit hosts the 2nd Annual Veteran Mental Health Awareness Hike
Carry the Weight: Ruck Hike
Guided Hikes meet at Coyote Run Trail Head:
• First guided hike starts at 9 a.m.
• Second guided hike begins at 10 a.m.
Hike on your own to show support for our veterans anytime from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
This event aims to raise awareness and connect community partners with our veteran community, particularly focusing on reaching under-served veteran populations.
Community outreach booths, and a guest speaker starting at 9 a.m.
Bring: refillable water bottle, dress for the weather, and sunscreen.
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register—just show up!
