Nature Hike

Join a ranger for a guided hike along our Juniper Ridge Trail.

Learn about the landscape, plants and animals of Copper Breaks. Visitors will get to see fossils from 250 million years ago, as well as some of the best views in the park. 

Bring: Water for drinking, hat and wear good walking/hiking shoes

Meet: Juniper Ridge Trailhead 

Program is free with paid park entrance fee or Texas State Park Pass.  This program may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen reasons.

*Note: This is a short but steep trail. Be prepared for hiking up and down hills.*
