Star Party

Observe the stars and planets through a telescope at Copper Breaks.

From the moon to distant galaxies, and everywhere in-between, join a ranger on an exploration of the stars. Visitors will get a tour of the evening sky, and then get the opportunity to view some of the more interesting objects through a telescope.

Bring: Warm clothes, water and a lawn chair 

Meet: Dark Sky Viewing Area, at Equestrian Trailhead

Program is free with paid park entrance fee or Texas State Park Pass.  This program may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen reasons.
