National Park Lands Day - iNat BioBlitz

Find, document, and upload as many species of plants, animals, and fungi as you can in this fun NPLD BioBlitz!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Boat House. Restroom is available nearby. Drinking water is available for purchase at the Park Store. Path to program is pavement and mowed grass with slight inclination and mild terrain.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of learning how to use iNaturalist/Seek applications to take photos, upload, and document for scientific research. We will practice these applications in the Day-Use area and portions of the hiking trails. Afterwards, continue your BioBlitz day with your newly learned skill!
When: 10 - 11a (You can iNat for the BioBlitz all day afterwards!)
Where: Boat House
What to bring:
- Smartphone w/ "iNaturalist" or "Seek" application downloaded (REQUIRED)
- Water
Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
