Curious about the various peoples who have called this area home, and how they adapted to life in the high desert? Join us on a moderate, 2-hour trail walk as we ponder human inhabitation in the Davis Mountains dating back over 10,000 years.
Meet: At the far end of Skyline Dr. by the CCC Rock Lookout (a 10-minute drive from headquarters)
Bring: sturdy shoes, water, hat, sunscreen
Cost: Free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
