Come observe the vast array of winged wildlife living in DMSP on a birding walk through an area of the park few guests visit.
Join park hosts Steve & Sue on a 1-mile walk along Limpia Creek on the Seep Trail located within the primitive area. You're likely to observe seasonal and migratory birds that are less visible in the more-heavily trafficked areas of the park. The walk typically takes 1.5 - 2 hours. Please register for this program by 4pm the day prior at the DMSP front office or call (432) 426-3337.
Meet: at the park HQ
Bring: walking shoes, binoculars, water, hat, sunscreen
Cost: free with admission - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
