Morning Nature Walk

Enjoy the wide variety of bird, plant, and animal species found in the park on this fun and informative morning walk.

Join local volunteers (and Master Naturalists), on an informative and fun nature walk around the park. They have spent many hours in the park and love to share their knowledge with visitors. You are sure to see some interesting birds, plants, and critters along the way. This 1.5 mile walk sticks to pavement.

Meet: at the Emory Oak Wildlife Viewing Area

Bring: binoculars, walking shoes, water, hat

Cost: Free for campers, Indian Lodge guests, or day users. Daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
