Take an introductory deep dive into the Davis Mountains on this easy walk 'n' talk.
Join park volunteers (and master naturalists) on this 1.5 - 2 hour easy hike along the scenic Skyline Dr. Trail. As you take in the majestic views, learn about the interrelatedness of Davis Mountain history, geology, climate, flora, and fauna.
Meet: at the far end of Skyline Dr. by the CCC stone shelter
Bring: hiking shoes, water, hat, sunscreen
Cost: free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
