Desert Spring Blooms

By late March, desert plants start popping out some color. Let's talk a hike and see what's blooming.

Do you smell that amazing scent in the air...something like wild honey? That's blooming agarita scattered around the park with its beautiful yellow flowers. On this hike, we'll talk about the amazing agarita and other flowers in bloom. 

Meet: At the Skyline Drive Trailhead (next to Interpretive Center)

Bring: Hiking shoes, water, hat, sunscreen, trekking poles (if needed)

Cost: Free for campers or day users w/ permit - daily entrance fee is $6.00/adult, or free for the carload with Texas State Park Pass
