Come and 'toast' the next 100 Years of Texas State Parks!

State Parks Centennial Logo

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends?

We'll kick off the evening with family friendly games from 8pm to 9pm. Play special s'more themed games and earn a s'more ingredient token from each different game. Earn all three ingredient tokens, turn it in to the rangers, and we'll reward you with a delicious s'less (this is a tasty no heat required version of the s'more)! Then, from 9pm to 10pm, we'll light up the fires and start roasting delicious s'mores! So assemble the crew, gather up the family, grab a chair and pull up to the fire.

Meet: Amphitheater

Bring: Water, and your sweet tooth! All supplies and ingredients to make s'mores are provided!

Note: If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please supply your own s'more ingredients. We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate anything above the general ingredients for s'mores.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park HQ if you are arriving after office hours.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at Park Headquarters.

Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

If you can’t make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s’mores get-together. Post a photo of your s’mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #100SmoreYears.

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.

Thanks to Solo Stove for donating fire pits to help us provide a smokeless s’mores experience at this event.
