Nature’s Pantry: Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk

Food and medicine is all around us in the field and in the forest.

Come join us as we learn how the natives used the plants in the park, discover which plants are edible, and learn some of their medicinal uses.

This is a short walk in a mostly shaded area along the river (.3 miles). This trail has a set of stairs.

Meet: Park Store at the benches under the tree.

When: 10 a.m.

There is no fee for attending this program, although park entrance is required to enter the park.  Entrance fees can be paid at Park Headquarters and are $7 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free. Appropriate for all ages.

Note: Plants and animal resources of the park are protected.
