**CANCELLED**

Due to forecasted rainy weather, we are cancelling S'mores Fest! But fear not, we will reschedule this event for a future date! Stay tuned and we will announce new dates in the coming weeks.

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends?

We will begin the celebration with some family friendly games and activities focused around S'mores!

Meet: South Primitive Camping Area

Start across the street from the dinosaur models and walk through the wooden archway. Follow the Story Walk / Lights down to the event.

Distance: Less than 0.5 miles one way to the event

Bring: Water, and your excitement for some fun games and activities!

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park HQ if you are arriving after office hours.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at Park Headquarters.

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s’mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

If you can’t make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s’mores get-together. Post a photo of your s’mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram @texasstateparks.org with the hashtag #100SmoreYears.

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.

Thanks to Solo Stove for donating fire pits to help us provide a smokeless s’mores experience at this event.
