Hear some of the stories and legends behind our favorite constellations!

Join us at Dinosaur Valley State Park to hear some of the stories and legends behind our favorite summer constellations and discover why certain stars and planets held such significance to humanity throughout time.

The fun doesn’t end there, stay later for a star party with the Fort Worth Astronomical Society and explore a variety of night sky objects through telescopes.

Bring: a chair and red lights only, please!

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park HQ if you are arriving after office hours.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at park headquarters.

You do not need to reserve a spot specifically for this program, it is included in a camping or day pass. We do ask you make camping or day pass reservations online in advance.
