Setting the Hook at Greenline Park

Come out to Greenline Park to learn the basics of fishing at this fun, free family event!

This free event is for the public,  youth ages 5-16 and their families. TPWD Angler Education Volunteer instructors will teach basic angler fishing lessons to include stewardship of the land, safety and first aid, knot tying, rod rigging, rules and regulations, casting, backyard bass and bank fishing at the Greenline Park ponds in San Antonio. No fishing license will be required for those fishing at the event.

• Registration/Check-in 4-6 pm
• Event 5-8 pm

Children must be accompanied by an adult - No drop-offs please.

Mask wearing and social distancing encouraged.
