Become a Texas Parks and Wildlife Certified Angler Education Instructor
This free workshop is open to anyone 18 or older interested in learning and teaching fishing skills in their communities. No fishing experience required! You must attend both sessions to become certified. Make up sessions are not available. The workshop includes interactive sessions that require all participants to be on camera with a mic and speakers. After certification, the program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce others to fishing. Ideal for fishing clubs, teachers, scout, or youth group leaders, after school or camp staff and community volunteers. TEA-approved CPE available for teachers.
Dates: Wednesday, June 17th and Thursday, June 18th
Time: 6pm-8:45pm each day
Pre-registration is required and is limited to 20 attendees.
