Learn how to catch the big one!

This FREE Online class is designed for anglers with basic knowledge and experience to increase their understanding of bass fishing.

Learn about bass fishing rigs including the Texas Rig, the Carolina Rig, Drop Shot and others, and what colors are best. The class will include a live demonstration of how to rig and common errors people make in rigging lures. You can also try your hand at rigging if you wish - details on how you can will be emailed before the event.

Join us for this hour long online session, with a follow-on 30 minute Q&A, to raise your game in bass fishing.

All ages are welcome - participants age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Adam Comer, TPWD Aquatic Education Training Specialist. The online class link and instructions will be emailed following registration.

The class will be led by Mr. Stacy Holt, a Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education Volunteer Instructor Trainer with more than 10 years of experience fishing bass tournaments and a boat captain for the FAN High School Tournament trail for the past few years.
