Learn to share bird conservation with children: Professional Development for anyone who works with children
Flying WILD is the bird-specific partner piece to Project WILD.
Learn about the importance of water to wildlife in the Chihuahuan Desert and how to teach about it.
Open to all 6th-8th grade educators
Join in-person or online (MSTeams)
Speaker: Lois Balin, Texas Parks & Wildlife Urban Biologist
- See the design of two burrowing owl habitats that will be built on the grounds of TecH2O.
- Earn 6 hours of TEA-approved CUE and TEEAC credit
- Receive Flying WILD curriculum guide featuring interactive,
hands-on activities for young learners, swag bag with conservation and educational items.
The TecH2O Center has adopted COVID protocols, including self-temperature checks and social distancing to provide a safe environment for visitors. Masks recommended.
