Learn to share conservation with children: Professional development for anyone who works with young children.

Growing Up WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators.

Workshop participants receive:

  • 3 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
  • Growing Up WILD Curriculum book
  • Texas-specific resources
  • Additional children's books and materials

Anyone who works with young children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, day care providers, and scout leaders is welcome.

2-Part Workshop!

Part 1: (Virtual) Introduction to Growing Up WILD; February 25th from 6:00-7:30pm via Zoom

Part 2: (In Person) Implementation of Growing Up WILD Activities; February 27th from 10:00-11:30am  (option of an afternoon session possible depending on enrollment).

$50  Preregistration required

Scholarships available for Galveston County educators; Contact Amy Musick for information.

No refunds unless cancelled by TPWD. Registration fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training. Attendance and participation in the entire workshop are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
