Learn how to catch the big one!

This is a 2-part Online class. Participants need to attend both sessions - Tues., August 11th  & Wed., August 12th , 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm each day.

Interested in getting started in bass fishing? Or feel like you need to improve now that you have started? Not sure what equipment to buy or maybe what you have doesn't cut it? Go to the lake and just don't know where to start?

The class is designed with beginners in mind, but is full of information to help you get started or move to that next level of fishing. The two sessions will cover different topics like equipment, safety, rules and regulations, lures and rigging your rods in different ways to catch them. We will talk about bass behavior and what to look for when you're out on the water.

The class size is limited to 15. All ages are welcome - participants age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pre-registration is required to attend. To register, please contact Adam Comer, TPWD Aquatic Education Training Specialist. The registration link with instructions will be emailed following signup.

The class will be lead by Mr. Stacy Holt, a Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education Volunteer Instructor Trainer with more than 10 years of experience fishing bass tournaments and a boat captain for the FAN High School Tournament trail for the past few years.
