Intro to High School Bass Tournament Fishing

Are you in 6th to 12th grade and interested in High School (HS) Bass Tournament fishing? Are you interested in learning what you need to know to be successful in bass fishing? This class is for you.

Come and learn about all the things you need to know about tournament fishing. This class is for students who have had minimal to intermediate experience fishing. 

This class is meant for those students who don't have easy access to a bass boat, or a parent / person that can help them learn how to get better at fishing. Parents and others new to HS tournament fishing or those wishing to learn can also attend!

This 3 hour class will cover these topics:

  • How to get started in HS bass tournaments
  • Discussion of different types of rods and reels
  • Lures: what they are and how to fish them
  • Safety
  • How to be a good partner / back seat
  • Bass basics: learn about bass and their habits
  • Strategies and Tactics
  • Rules, regulations and ethics
  • How to fish area lakes
  • And much more
