Learn To Fish

Come out to Southwest Williamson County Regional Park to learn fishing tips and tricks at this fun, FREE, family event!

Come catch a smile! Williamson County Parks and TPWD Cetified Angler Education Instructors invite you and your family out for a morning of free fishing fun! 

Activities will be available for all ages - learn fishing skills and techniques, play Backyard Bass, and practice what you've learned at the pond! 

Rods, tackle and bait will be provided for this catch and release event.

Fishing poles, tackle boxes, first aid kits, and more will be given away at the event to help you build your own fishing kit!  

All youth must be accompanied by an adult - no drop-offs please. 

A fishing license is required for all adults 17 and older. Buy a license online or at your local sporting goods store.
