Aquatic WILD & Flying WILD Combo Workshop - San Marcos

Professional development for anyone who works in education with children or the public. This workshop will cover Aquatic WILD and Flying WILD.

Project WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators. 

Workshop participants receive:

• 7 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
• Aquatic WILD K-12 guide & Flying WILD: Birds Across the Curriculum guide
• Texas-specific resources

Dress for outdoors, a change of clothes for kayaking, bring a lunch and a refillable water bottle. No kayaking experience is necessary, all equipment is provided.

Anyone who works with children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders, is welcome.

$50 preregistration is required. Deadline March 6, 2025

Fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training.  Attendance and participation in the entire experience are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
