What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s’mores with family or friends?

Come join Ranger Lindsay & other Eisenhower rangers!

Meet: Rec Hall campfire ring & picnic area

Location: Next to Rec Hall in the Deer Haven camping loop.

Bring: Water and your excitement! All supplies and ingredients to make s'mores are provided!

Note: If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please supply your own s'more ingredients. We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate anything above the general ingredients for s'mores.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park headquarters if you are arriving after office hours.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at park headquarters.

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s’mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.

If you can’t make it to a park, join the fun by hosting your own s’mores get-together. Post a photo of your s’mores celebration on Facebook or Instagram @texasstateparks.org with the hashtag #100SmoreYears.

This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.
