  • Expect to: Learn a little bit about the natural history of Eisenhower State Park and how environmental transformation shaped the Red River Valley.
  • When: We’ll begin at 9:30 am and end at approximately 10:30 am.
  • Where: Meet at the entrance to the swim beach. Parking is available at the adjacent day use area. The hike will be about a mile and a half there and back.
  • What to bring: Appropriate footwear and plenty of water. Don’t forget to put on the sunblock and bug spray before you come out.
