Christmas Morning Bird Walk

Who's that chirping in the trees? Join a ranger with your morning cup of coffee and take a walk on the mild side with this introductory birdwatching walk.

Bring your hiking boots, sweaters, binoculars, and sense of curiosity for this Christmas morning hike.  This hike will be about 1.2 miles in length and features our Frontside, Loop, and Connecting Trails. 

Meet: Gazebo at Summit Trailhead

Bring: Water, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, comfortable hiking shoes. 

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry.
