Celebrate National Moon Day and the 50th Anniversary of when Apollo 11 landed on the moon! Discover the stories and science behind our largest satellite - the Moon! Peer through a telescope at the surface of the moon, learn how its craters formed and hear ancient stories.
Location on the Summit Trail, just past the Gazebo, so stop on by and eye the sky!

Entrance fee for the park is $7/person (children 12 and under are free); no additional fee to attend this program. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

Texas State Parks has a NEW reservation system. While we do not require reservations for any events at this time, without a day-use reservation, we cannot guarantee entrance into the park to attend this event. Day pass reservations can be made online.
