Join us for a Dutch oven cooking demo presented by Uncle Mikes Outdoor Kitchen. -Get familiar with basic equipment and techniques -Learn simple recipes -Live Q&A and cooking demonstration -Free samples! Yum!
When: Every second Saturday of the month
Times:
- March-June @ 2pm,
- July - September @ 10am,
- October - December @ 2pm
Where: Volleyball Field in the Cooks Ferry camping loop
What to bring: Chair or blanket, bug spray, sunscreen, & water.

This will be a cooking and equipment demonstration showing the versatility and utility of the cast iron Dutch oven. Participants will learn about the history of the Dutch oven, many of its uses and equipment, and simple but delicious recipes that you can prepare at home or around the campfire. Uncle Mike from Uncle Mike’s Outdoor Kitchen will be the instructor. He will answer any burning questions you have about Dutch oven cooking!
