Learn how to tie 5 basic knots and create a display board for those knots.
Learn how to tie some important, yet easy, knots that can make your camping experience better. Ranger Heather will teach you how to tie:
- Square knot
- Half hitch
- Clove hitch
- Sheep shank
- Bow line
Which will be displayed on a board you will take home.
Audience: Everyone
Meet at: Pavilion
Wear: Clothes appropriate for the weather.
Cost/How to Register: Program is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass. Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and older $3.00 per person.
