Stars and planets and meteors, oh my!

We will have a couple telescopes set up to view Saturn.  The Swift-Tuttle comet passing will generate the Perseids meteor shower.  Bring a chair or blanket to comfortably enjoy the night sky.  Feel free to bring binoculars and/or your own telescope.

This program is weather dependent.  Check back here or our Facebook page for any changes.

Meet at:  Lake Sullivan, near the fishing pier

What to wear/bring:  Clothing appropriate for the weather.  A flashlight a red filter (red cellophane will be available at the park).

Cost/How to Register:  Call the park office to reserve your spot.  Program is free with paid park entrance or Texas State Park Pass.  Entry is FREE for children 12 years and younger; 13 and holder is $3.00 per person.
