Walk off your Thanksgiving meal by joining a park ranger for a moderate hike along one of Big Bend Ranch State Park's hidden-treasure trails!

Cinco Tinajas Trail holds cultural and natural resource diversity that is often hidden in plain sight. Come explore this unique area that has housed people and wildlife for thousands of years. This is a moderate 2.5-mile hike, round trip. Pets are not allowed on this trail.

Bring: water, snacks, hiking boots/shoes, and comfortable clothes.

Optional: binoculars, hiking stick, camera, and a map.

Fee: Free with park entry: $5 for adults, free for children 12-and-under.

Meet: At the Cinco Tinajas Trailhead. Cinco Tinajas Trail is located in the park's interior, roughly 2 miles before the Sauceda Ranger Station on the Main Park Road.  From FM 170, turn on to Casa Piedra Road.  Follow signs along the main road until you see Cinco Tinajas.
