Worried about getting lost or off-trail in remote locations? Are your map reading skills a little rusty? Navigationally challenged? Let us ease your orienteering worries!
We will explore a few different kinds of maps, talk about some useful wayfinding tools, and discover how to read the environment around you!
Drop in outside the Sauceda Ranger Station anytime between 11am-2pm.
Bring a compass or map of your own (optional).
Fees: Adults 13 and older, $5; Children age 12 and under, free admission. Hint: Reserve online in advance.
