Black Light Hike & Scavenger Hunt at Midnight!

Take a New Year’s hike at midnight with a Fort Parker State Park ranger! Visit the 1/2-mile Bur Oak Trail and see what you might with an awesome black light! Continue the New Year's fun with a "Riddle-Me-This" scavenger hunt by moonlight. Can you answer the riddles to ring in the New Year?

Be sure to bring a flashlight, closed-toe shoes, and dress for the weather.

This easy 1/2-mile hike starts at 9:30 PM Dec. 31, and the scavenger hunt ends at about 11:55 PM.  The NEW YEAR will be celebrated with a countdown, campfire, and refreshments.  The event is over at 12:15 AM Jan. 1.
