Ruck with a Ranger

This event proudly supports the TPWD Veteran Mental Health Awareness Ruck Hikes programs, helping raise awareness and encourage connection within our local veteran community. Complete a 1.4mile ruck hike with navy veteran, Ranger Sam.

• Arrive at the front office at 7:30am to pick up your park entry and receive directions to the trailhead
• Texas State Parks offer free veteran entry pass, inquire at the front office
• Bring water, sun protection, and bug protection
• Wear closed-toe shoes
