American 250th: Artillery Demo

Join us for this 4th of July celebration as we fire the cannons, display firearms, and watch military drills conducted by our reenactors.

Explore the historic 19th-century buildings to get a better feel for what the 4th of July would have felt like in 1870.

Things you should know:

• Meet: Parade grounds
• Cannons: Fired hourly between 10 AM - 4 PM
• Bring: Drinking water, sunscreen and earplugs
• Cost: Attendance is open to the public and free AFTER regular day pass or camping fees. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before the event)
