Stitches of 1870
Sat, April 18, 2026
Join our rangers for our monthly sewing program where we’ll create 1870s garments using period inspired patterns and techniques.
Each session, we’ll work on a different piece of clothing, building your skills as you create a historic wardrobe piece by piece. Some projects may take multiple sessions to complete.
During our first session, we’ll kick things off with an introduction to “Hussy to Housewife,” discuss what materials work best, and review the basic supplies you’ll need for the projects ahead.
It’s perfectly okay if you’re still building your sewing skills. We’ll take it step by step and learn together throughout the series.
