Enjoy drinking iced tea in the summer? Learn about some native plants you can add to your steeping rotation!

Sweet iced tea may be iconic of Southern hospitality today, but the history of tea in America extends long before Europeans ever stepped foot on this continent with their imported Camellia leaves.

Drop by the Interpretive building to learn more about the amazing plants that have been quenching thirst for thousands of years.

Fee: no cost for this program, but we encourage you to get an entrance permit and explore the park while you are out here!
