Celebrate the upcoming year of the tiger with some fun desert themed crafts!

Traditionally the Chinese New Year is ushered in with elaborate parades, masks, and decorations (often depicting dragons as symbols of good fortune). This Chinese New Year, celebrate the year of the tiger by mixing some of these elements with a southwestern flare featuring our local big cats and dragons.

Location: The interpretive building across from the Tom Mays Visitor Center.

From Westside on I-10, take exit 6 & travel east towards mountains for 3.8 miles. Park entrance will be on the left.
