Take a self-led walk through notable moments of African American history on Galveston Island State Park.

This is a self-led walk. This trail has very little shade, so hats and sunglasses are highly recommended.

  • Where: Heritage Trail, parking located in front of Nature Center
  • Cost: Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.
