Discover the natural sources of color used to dye materials for thousands of years, then use a faster, modern technique to dye yarn yourself!

Flowers, fruit, bark, and bugs are some of the things used throughout history to turn plain wool and cotton into vibrantly colorful pieces of material. Learn some of the natural dye sources and how they were used, then dye your own yarn a much faster way- with Kool-Aid!

Wear clothing that you don't mind getting stained.

Program takes place on the mission grounds.

Program is free with park entrance ($4 per person, free for kids 12 & under).
