Test your skills with the atlatl, an ancient hunting tool once used across the globe.
The atlatl was used for many thousands of years across several continents. This weapon enabled ancient people to throw long darts farther and faster than throwing with their arms alone, helping them take down prey like deer, bison, and mammoths. Come try your hand at it and see if you would have brought home dinner or gone home hungry!
Program will take place in the picnic area.
Program is free with park entrance ($4 per person, free for children 12 & under)
