Boaters Education Course (Registration Required)

This course is required for those that wish to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas.

Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 will need to take this course. With more and more people enjoying the lakes, rivers, and bays every year, it's important for everyone that boaters educate themselves on boating skills and seamanship. All classes are a minimum of six hours.

This course is all digital. Please bring a laptop or tablet to participate. 

Lunch is not provided. Bring a sack lunch, snacks, and hydration.

Age: This course is for anyone born on or after September 1, 1993.
How to prepare: Download your digital student manual ahead of time and be sure to bring a laptop or tablet.
When: 9am-5pm
Where: CCC Recreation Hall
Bring: Lunch, snacks, hydration, laptop or tablet.
Cost: This course is $5 and requires registration. Register here.
Entrance fees: Entrance fees will be waived for those attending this course.
Note: Children under 13 years of age are specifically prohibited from operating a PWC unless accompanied onboard by a person at least 18 years of age who is legally authorized to operate a PWC.
