Civilian Conservation S'more

Help us celebrate 100 s'more years of Texas State Parks by recreating our historic CCC Recreation Hall using only s'mores ingredients!

What better way to celebrate the past 100 years of Texas State Parks and look forward to 100 more years than enjoying s'mores with family or friends?

You may be familiar with making a gingerbread house, but what about a s'mores house, or rather a s'mores recreation hall? As we celebrate 100 years in State Parks, we're going to try to recreate our historic Civilian Conservation Corps structure using only s'mores ingredients, and we need your help! We'll pass out s'mores kits at the end of the program for you to take back to your campsite.

When: 3-4:30pm

Bring: Yourself! We'll provide the s'mores ingredients.

Texas State Parks will be hosting fun and unique s'mores celebrations across Texas on May 13. Guarantee entry by reserving your day pass up to one month before this special event.
