Woodland Bird Walk

What will you find on a bird walk through the woods?

Join us for an exploratory walk through the Live Oak-Red Bay woodlands of Goose Island State Park. We'll learn about and identify the birds we see on our route, which includes a stop at the bird viewing area.

When: 8:30-11:00 A.M.

Where: Meet at the Turks Cap Trail parking lot near site #157.

Bring: Binoculars, drinking water, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. 

FYI:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
• Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

• Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
