Girl Scouts Love State Parks - Bay Exploration

Join Ranger Sara to see what we can find in St. Charles Bay!

We're celebrating Girl Scouts Love State Parks! Bring your scout (siblings welcome!) to Goose Island to learn about the role of our bays. 

How to prepare: This program has an option to help the ranger use a seine net. Kids must be at least 8 years old to help with the seine net. Close-toed shoes are a requirement (NOT Crocs).

Where to meet: Picnic Area (large parking lot north of the Recreation Hall).
Bring: sun protection, hydration and a refillable water bottle.
Pets: Parts of this program may have to be moved inside due to heat. Pets are not permitted inside State Park buildings. Please leave pets at home.
Accessibility: This program takes place on a grassy, uneven surface. Email sara.rock@tpwd.texas.gov for questions.
