Constitution to Nature (moved from July 3)

Write your own constitution for nature using ink made from oak galls! This is an America 250 program.

Did you know that the iron ink used in writing our nation's most treasured documents used powder from oak galls created by wasps?

What To Expect: 
Ink supplies are provided. Create natural ink while learning about the history behind it. 

You will be given paper and a quill to practice your penmanship with the ink you made. And you get to keep the paper!

Where: CCC Recreation Hall
Bring: hydration
Cost: Free with park entrance permit ($5/adult, kids 12yrs and under free).
Age: This program is great for those that are old enough to write, but any age is welcome!
Accessibility: This program takes place inside an accessible building. Parking located nearby. Email Ranger Sara with questions on accessibility.
Pets: No pets are permitted inside State Park buildings.
